A few minutes away from 10. Every night, I have hopes of going to bed by 10...but at the final hour...I revolt against my own wishes. ...I like to stay up late. No matter how much I hate it in the morning...I love it at night. And since I can still lodge myself out of bed in the morning, I continue on this destructive early-aging path. What else is under eye concealer for??? And why do they start teaching females how to use it when they are only 16? I'll tell ya why...it was all in preperation for this. -Staying up late when you're a full grown woman. Burning both ends of the candle. Pushing hard every day.
Yesterday, I got to help out a friend. I graded math papers all day long...into the late evening! It was a veritable math-o-rama! I really think that anyone who wants to develop a deeper appreciation for teachers...should spend a few hours grading papers. Holy kershmackerbies! They do not get paid enough. It was a great experience for me, also, because I really see why certain teachers have had certain aproaches. No matter what the approach...all teachers are trying their best to bring out the best in their students. They want to see us succeed. They want to be a part of our growth. I really think that it makes them glow when they see us get A's. Not only that, but to come to class prepared, and eager. READY and chomping at the bit to learn! I had so much fun. And...I am going to get tutoring for my advanced math class with Jess, in exchange for my help. I'm really excited about that. She's a rock-star when it comes to math. She has a real talent for understanding complex problems on a deep level, and then helping connect the math theories with the student. Yay! I will be a math rock-star too one day! Woo hoo! I am dusting off my 10 pound text book and getting to work!
