Learning more and more how easy and good it is to "deselect" people early on. It is far preferable to deselect when you have little invested in a person. Before you love them, before you care all that much one way or the other. It is just much easier and less painful to do it when it's early. When you are still clear headed and seeing people for who they are is a simple straight shot. I think it's a good life lesson for many a girl to learn.
