One Good Day

Yesterday was a great day at work. I sold a beautiful antique Fenton glass lamp to a very nice and appreciative woman. It feels so good to be of service to someone who is polite, and actually notices and is thankful for your efforts. Another person who sticks out to me from yesterday, was an older woman, with a very small head, to whom I sold a summer hat to. I also sold her one of our inserts that can help fit a hat to smaller heads. It felt so good. She was really happy. She didn't think she would be able to find a hat that would fit her petite head. It sounds so silly...but people like that actually do brighten my day. If they leave happy and glowing, it makes me glow for being able to have provided that level of service to them. My boss also gave me a bar of expensive french soap as a thanks you. (That was a nice surprize at the end of the day.) I picked Sage scented soap. It's so yummy, yet not overpowering. After my bath, I fell asleep listening to opera. It was such a good evening.
