Atonement

Merg...I'm tired. I saw a very good movie tonight with friends -Atonement. It reminds me of one of my favorite books "A Time To Love And A Time To Die" by Remarque. I always loved the grittiness of that book, and how it really did NOT romanticize war..in fact it kind of socked you in the gut with the despair, tragedy, and grusomeness of it all...and then lifted you up again with heavenly experiences that are common to us all...like love. ..But then socked you in the gut again..because war's like that.
