TURKEYDAY! It feels almost as good as Christmas morning!

Current mood:excited

So the day has arrived...Thanksgiving. A day to sleep in, roast turkey, and feast in general. I'm looking forward to the beach today. I think it's going to happen! The weather looks clear and decently nice for autumn...a bit crisp..but hey that's all seasoning for the memory I think.
I spoke with Eva yesterday...and she loved the candle. She's using it too! That makes me so happy! I hate it when people horde nice things and never use them...like soap and candles and china...also nice words...like: "I love you" "You're the greatest!"..."I really apprecieate X about you." ...I've just never been a fan of people who live their lives all bottled up in fear, afraid to say the things that mean the most. On a certain level we all feel that way sometimes...but all the same...don't be stingy with the words of appreciation and love y'all!  Life is for living and enjoying. It makes me happy when my friends dig in and enjoy the sumptuous feast called life!
I fell asleep so early last night! I was just going to take a little nap and then go to the store for my ingredients (I'm contributing the garlic mashed potatoes this year again...so it's just spuds, cream, and butter, maybe some chives if they have them) I fell asleep around 7:30ish...it was supposed to be a wee tiny nap, so that I could go shopping late when hopefully less people would be there...but nooooo I conked out completely. I slept through to 8 am the next morning.
Ooooh but on a completely superfluous note...I shaved my legs and arm pits! It's just like summer again! No more winter pelt for me.
And now...I'm off to the store...to fight hordes of people. I bet commie market is closed today. Too bad..they do have the best cream. Although their Yukon Golds cost an arm an a leg!...it's almost as if they took the name literally in their pricing!
