The Sweetness Of Doing Nothing

I am very welcome at many places this Thanksgiving. I'm going to two Thanksgiving dinners, and even an extra one on Saturday...the hostess was very distressed when I told her that no...I couldn't call in sick that day...I really did have to work, but I could come *after* work... There's something nice about being wanted. I'm looking forward to this year. I have much to be grateful for. My family is thinking about just roasting a turkey...but then making sandwiches out of it and going out to the beach...maybe doing a little hike and having a bonfire on thanksgiving. That sounds like rocking good fun to me...and just my type of thanksgiving. I am also looking forward to sleeping in on the holliday! Woo Hoo!!!
Ooooh...on an off note: I met a darling little girl who's name was "Dolce Vita" And she really did live up to that name! I want to name my daughter that one day. La dolce vita is such a beautiful concept. Enjoying the sweetness of life...and the sweetness of doing nothing. I look forward to it. I will relish in it and wrap myself up in the moment, like a child with a big warm blanket fresh from the dryer on a cold winter eve!
