Sick

Agh! I'm home sick today. Last night I was really ill! I had been fighting a cold for about a week, and I hadn't gotten fullblown sick yet. I was hoping to avoid it altogether, so I stocked up on vitamin C and airborne...I was getting to bed early and generally taking it easy. But last night I woke up around 3 or 4 in the morning..my tummy hurt, and I was really gross sick. I kept telling myself that I was fine. I  tried to take some tylenol to make the pain go away, but then I had the most explosive vomit of my life. Yuck. It apparently was NOT all mind over matter. Because I was telling myself that I was fine...but my body wasn't listening. SO...I called in sick. (bleh) I hope they didn't have the sample sale today! I've totally been looking forward to it, and I really wanted to go! I actually love my new job. But I couldn't imagine answering phones and dealing with longwinded customers today, when my stomache was acting up. There was no way I could really do that. Unless they'd let me answer phones from the bathroom (a tad bit unprofessional..so probably erm..no!)
