I went to the local bike shop and had them put some air in my tires. My back tire was a little flat. Then, I rode back to work...duh duh duh...in traffic! Oh yes. I did indeed. I even sped down then up a hill. I did indeedy! And I brought my bike inside even though it's not a new trex or (insert overpriced carbon fiber bike makers moniker here). I still took care of my baby and gave her a prime time front row seat to the big show. (meaning I leaned her up inside in the back hallway so no one would mess with my bike while I was at work.)

Please excuse me for going on and on about these sorts of things. It's just that it really is exciting for me. I am doing things that I am afraid to do, that I have never done before, and that I have always wanted to be able to do. And I'm doing them alone.
