Meeting the Fam...

Two days off back to back! Oooh feel the luxury!

..Also...I have no classes right now to study for!!! Aaaahhh....

...And I got to sleep in with my honey!!! Yeahh.....

Yesterday, Joshua met my family. It was pretty good. He liked them, they liked him, and we all had a good time. It opened up a really good conversation for us on the ride home about our fathers, and what it takes to create a good relationship after a period of destructive behavior. Joshua also really liked my Uncle Edgar, cousin Mark, and was very glad to see my Grandmama again. It's such a good feeling when the people that you love the most come together and actually like each other!

My mom got to spend the day with her friend, Monica. I think she had a good time too. When we went to pick her up, she was lying on a bed with two beautiful whippets. I am just amazed by how big Monica's dogs are. It makes me think that I need to be making my dog her food again instead of just giving her kibble. Those dogs were so thick and muscular.

Well...Now I'm off to the grocery store...I have some cooking and cleaning to do!
