My Deep Lesson

Life can be a whirlwind sometimes...but luckily, I can be a dervish...so I can handle it. Lately I am grasping a new and important life lesson. Here it is people:
In life, there will be times when you will have expectations of how other people should treat you, and they will have different expectations of how they should behave. For example, having someone lie to you, when you expected them to be honest. Leaving you to feel disappointment. And being disappointed is just par for the course. People will sometimes disappoint you, and it's best to learn early on how to cope with it and move on. Don't get stuck on it. And it's still ok to have expectations of how you want to be treated such as: with honesty, compassion, friendship, warmth, love, sincerity, and openness. But if that is not your experience of life every waking minute of every waking day, do not despair or hold a grudge, just move on from that moment and look forward to future moments when you will experience life as you like it to be.

I never give up on the kind of future that I want to have which is one filled with love, peace, and friendship. And yes, I fully agree with you, that there can be circumstances that can trigger a fault with a person's character causing them to lie and such. I am actually very forgiving with those kinds of things because I fully understand (f

For instance, what if there were circumstances that triggered a fault with a person's character that caused them to lie. I differ from the above in that I would not hold a grudge in the first place. That's not me. I'd rather try to understand, not necessarily move on.
