Men are wonderful, and shocking, and sweet, and smelly, funny, and charming, gross, and intelligent. How is this possible? It's like the spacetime continuum. I know that we all are like this -possessing many facets to our being. But it always amazes me just a little bit.
I had such a good time with my sweetheart today. He came over after work and we just chilled. Literally. He took off his shirt (button-down really hot office shirt -super yargy in the heat) and I misted us with cool lavender water and fanned us while we talked. It was so nice. Really quiet moments like that, where we're just chilling, and it's us and intimate, and relaxed. I live for moments like that. Where it's not about sex, it's just about connection, and friendship, and love. Dude! I so dig that!!!!
Then, we went out to dinner. Steak. Yummmmm. Mine was medium-rare. It was sooooo good. There were a couple of bites where I looked at the meat, and it looked back (totally raw -but warm), and I thought maybe I would have liked this a tad bit more cooked. But it was still good.
