Such odd thoughts...
...Last night, while at dinner with a friend, we got to talking about his ex-girlfriend. I said something about her being the most influential woman of his adult life...(aka. NOT his mama!) -She really was. IMO.
He however, was like: "Oh no... don't say that."
And then he turned the tables on me...and asked me who the most influential male of my adult life was. Was it my longtime on again off again man? Or was it someone else? Who was the most influential male figure of my adult life? I had a few candidates. Two were really great friends, and two were love interests. But in the end, I think that Guy was actually the most influential. ....But then I also realized that in general, I am not heavily influenced by men. It was such a strange thought. It seemed to me that there should be more than just 4 paltry guys who have influenced me substantially. But there weren't. Hmmmm.... I'm influenced by my female friends all the time. I'm always learning something new or exchanging ideas with them. I would like to be more open and even with who I allow to influence me in the future. (With good judgement obviously!)
