12 Times! -Color Me Impressed!!!

I met a woman this weekend at the store who ended up talking about surfing with me. She was so nice. Like the kind of person that I would like to be friends with. ...She told me that the first time she ever went out..she got up on the board 12 times in the first day!!! UNHEARD OF! I can't believe it! -I was very impressed. ...And I believe her too. She had a tight wirey frame that looked like she really could do it. She was an athlete. And had done years of yoga...so she had very good balance. But still...12 times! And she was a woman! I am so inspired. I have never met anyone else who can claim the same thing. She said she hoped to see me out there in the surf! -I hope so too!
