What's keeping me from my dream job? Hmmmm???
I have so many dream jobs. There's the big one: Writer/Director. And I'd say the things keeping me from those would be: finishing my education, making time to write, having the courage to approach and sell my ideas and stories, believing in myself. And learning leadership skills. I want to be the kind of director that people look forward to working with, where they enjoy the process, and hopefully grow and learn in some way. I'd like to help people become better than what they are when they start with me, and also, I'd like to be able to encourage people to go after what *they* want...help them achieve their dreams. That's the kind of leader I want to be. I want to be inspiring.
Dream job #2 (the small one) I want to work in a quality spa as a CMT. The only thing keeping me from that job is, chutzpah. I've already applied, the interview went great, the massage went great (the head of spa services was all blissed out!), the head of human resources was even telling me about the 401k plan and benefits, they paid to do a background check on me (I got a copy..and I'm clean as a whistle!), and now....I just haven't heard from them. So...I need to call them. Yeah. I hate doing that.
