Epically wonderful weekend! I had one of the best dates of my life on Friday! It wasn't my date...but I was glad to luck out! Hehehe. I went to the baseball game with one of my best friends, Amy! I cannot belive what an awesome time we had! Holy kershmackerbies! This girl can plan a good time! I'm kind of glad that her man couldn't make it to the game! I was blown over by what an amazing date she had planned for them. ...SO when she invited me to go with her to the game...I was like: "Hell yes!!" We headed down after work on Friday. Two words: Club Level! Two more words: Baseball Food!!! We had hot dogs, garlic fries, and beer! I had my first *bud light* EVER! I can't believe how refreshing it was! It was great! And the stadium was so amazingly beautiful. The green of the field, the warm brown of the pitching mound, the view of the bay!!! WOW! I loved cheering, and clapping, and singing Hideehideehideeho! There was a Giant who was going to bat for THE FIRST TIME EVER IN HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER! That was exciting. I cheered extra hard for him. He did strike out...but still! One thing I learned at the game was how much these guys really strike out at bat! It's like....super common! They also hit some big time foul balls! I don't even know how many times I watched a ball get hit straight up into the air...literally about a hundred yards UP! One guy even hit the ball up and then behind him into the stands! It made me realize how much fortitude it takes to be a pro baller! You have to have *the grit* to tough it out, and try your best, no matter what the situation is. You have to bring it every time. It was great to watch! Baseball on TV = BORING. But live..it's Sooooo much fun!
I also went to a barbeque with my BBQ! He came out and met some of my friends! I am so glad. He really liked them...and the feeling was mutual dah-lings! Mooochooo uhl! I brough spinach dip and hard cider...and we played a rousing game of Dutch Blitz! Nick also brought it to our attention...that we have never been playing the game the way it is supposed to be played! Whoah!!!! One of these days we will have to pay attention to the rules..and try to do the dutchboy on dutchgirl action...but until then...we don't discriminate. Joshua and I snuggled, and cuddled, and slept in! I love that feeling! The feeling of NOT setting your alarm, and unplugging the phone so that you can SLEEP IN as long as you want with no distractions! Oooh yeah! It was good! Then we lounged in bed and talked. I gave him a back massage. And we both called Amy to wish her a happy birthday...we sang her the birthday song! I hope it made her day! Inspired by Miss Amy's morning, we decided to head out to the Willowood Cafe for breakfast! Holy schmoly! THE MONTE CRISTO!!! THE EGGS BENEDICT!!! IT WAS DIVINE!! We did part of the cross word puzzle together...or rather...Joshua did the crossword puzzle, and I peeked at the key to give him hints or tell him if the word wasn't right. I was so impressed! He's really good at doing crossword puzzles! I never really got into them because it wasn't my forte. But it was fun with him. :-) Then we headed out to the bakery..taking a scenic back road to get there...said hi to Sash and Thea. And Joshua tried on some hats. He looked so damn handsome in this one felt hat. I'm tempted to buy it for him...he liked it but he doesn't know where he'd wear it. For all I care, he could wear it to bed! That would be fine! Anyhoo...he saw the craftsman style chairs I bought. He liked them and agreed that they were in fact Joshua chairs! :-) And then we headed out to the beach. We had planned to have crab cakes..but they were sold out...so we had some clam chowder, and watched the waves break, and talked about surfing. It was a wonderful day with my sweetie! So!! I had the super wonderful date filled weekend. I am loving this! And my plan to integrate my most beloved people is working!
